We are a service and social group. Our purpose is to gather together to study horticulture, promote artistry in floral and landscape design, protect our natural resources, and encourage conservation practices. Our goals are to stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening and to share our skills with each other and our community.

We hope that you will explore our site to see the treasure trove of information on gardening and conservation ideas (Resources, Grants and Community Projects, Awards, etc.) as well as the many ways we contribute to the Calvert County community and find some information on activities that we organize to educate our members.
We look forward to seeing all our favorite friends and neighbors at our famous plant sale. In addition to outstanding plants from our gardens at excellent prices, goodies at the garden shed, and all kinds of expert advice, we will have scrumptious baked goods, hot dogs and drinks. Come Join us!

Join Us and Become a Member
We welcome new members throughout the year. We meet from September through June. Our meetings include educational programs, field trips, community service projects and our annual plant sale. Like many clubs, we use the sponsor model to help prospective members learn about our club. If you know a current active member, you can ask that member to sponsor you. If not, please CONTACT US, and our membership chair will provide you with more information and find members who will be glad to sponsor and welcome you to the club.
